All Star Season is Underway!

The Major boys bounced back from a first-round loss to Shelton National with a 5 - 0 shutout victory over Union City in Seymour. Ricky Viveiros pitched a complete game one hitter for Foley. Next up for the Major Boys is Prospect on Thursday July 3 at the Nike site in Shelton. Game time is 6:30 p.m.
The 9/10 District team defeated Derby 14 - 0 Friday and followed that up with a 6 -3 victory over Shelton American on June 30th. They play again on July 8th in Derby against the winner of tomorrow's game between Shelton National vs Ansonia. That game starts at 5:30 p.m.
The 10/11 boys lost to Shelton American by the score of 6 - 5 Wednesday. They will face the loser of Union City vs Ansonia on Sunday at the Nike Site in Shelton.
Girls' Softball exited the tournament this season with losses to Oxford and Union City. Congratulation to our softball players and coaches for their efforts this season.
Muckdogs Capture Minor League Title

The Muckdogs defeated the River Cats by the score of 12 - 10 Saturday to win the Minor League Championship Tournament. Congratulations to the champions!

Congratulations to the Cardinals on winning the 2008 Peter J. Foley Major League Championship. The Cards defeated the Braves 9 - 1 Tuesday evening to capture the championship.
