hello fellas. In less than 2 weeks it is our turn to lock horns with the generals. It seems you guys found a weekness being the only team to score on them this year. Any tips to offer up???

I wanted to stop in and say thanks for a great game, thank you for the hospitality. I am so happy we were able to play the game on the field and keep it there. Good Luck the rest of the way and I am sure we will meet each other again. Take Care!

I took this message off the Saints guestbook but it goes for our team also and the man that wrote played for the Philadelphia Eagles and now plays for the Saints Fred Gunther some of you guys know him as Gunzs.

I'M BACK, AND I HAVE A FEW THINGS I WOULD LIKE TO CLEAR UP AS THE TEAM LIASON. ( YEAH I'M USING MY AUTHORITY..) ANYWAY, WE HAVE COME A LONG WAY SINCE WE STARTED, FOR NOW ON THE ROAD TO THE CHAMPIONSHIP IS GOING TO GET A WHOLE LOT BUMPIER AS WE GO. WE HAVE MADE A STATEMENT IN THIS LEAGUE AND NOW IS NOT THE TIME TO GET RELAXED. THE COMPETITION IS GOING TO GET STIFFER AND TEAMS WILL BE PREPARING THEMSELVES BETTER FOR US. WHICH MEANS EVERY PLAY WILL BE CRUCIAL IN EVERY GAME ON O AND ON D.

THE POINT I WANT TO MAKE WITH THE STATEMENTS I'M MAKING, IS THAT WHEN WE RUN INTO GOOD TEAMS THERE ARE TIMES WHEN PEOPLE WON'T BE ABLE TO PLAY ON THIS TEAM AND EVERYONE HAS TO UNDERSTAND THAT. THERE ARE NO RULES THAT SAY EVERYONE MUST GET PLAYING TIME ON A TEAM OR ON THIS TEAM. THIS IS NOT POP WARNER AND THIS IS NOT HIGH SCHOOL. IF ANYONE HAS PLAYED AT THE COLLEGE OR PRO LEVEL, SOMETIMES YOU DIDN'T SEE THE FIELD ALL YEAR.. I'VE BEEN THERE AND DONE THAT.

FIRST, SECOND AND THIRD STRING WERE INSTITUTED FOR A REASON.. TO PUT THE BEST GUYS ON THE FIELD AT A GIVEN TIME. IF A GAME IS TIGHT, THE COACHES JOB IS TO KEEP THE BEST PLAYERS ON THE FIELD. WHICH MEANS SECOND AND THIRD STRING GUYS WON'T PLAY. THAT'S A FACT AND YOU HAVE TO LIVE WITH IT. I THINK SOME OF US ARE UNDER THE MISCONSEPTION THAT WE ALL HAVE TO PLAY EVERY WEEK.. IT DOESN'T WORK LIKE THAT AND SOME OF US NEED TO REALIZE THAT.

WE ALL TRY OUT FOR TEAMS IN HOPES THAT WE MAKE A TEAM AND START. SOMETIMES IT DOESN'T WORK OUT LIKE THAT AND AS A MAN YOU HAVE TO BE WILLING TO EXCEPT YOUR ROLE ON THAT SAID TEAM. IT'S LIFE GENTLEMAN AND YOU MUST EXCEPT IT. IF YOU CAN'T, THEN YOU HAVE SOME DECISIONS TO MAKE. STAY OR GO..? IT'S THAT SIMPLE.. I'M NOT SAYING THESE THINGS BECAUSE I START MEN, I'M SAYING IT BECAUSE I CAN RELATE.. I'VE BEEN THERE MANY TIMES IN THE PAST AND HAVE BEEN CUT FROM TEAMS WHEN MONEY WAS INVOLVED.. FOOD FOR MY WIFE AND KIDS, SO I DON'T WANT TO HEAR THE HARD LUCK STORIES..

ALL THIS IS FOOD FOR THOUGHT GENTLEMEN, I KNOW IT WAS LONG WINDED BUT I THINK IT NEEDED TO BE SAID. KNOW YOUR ROLE AND EXCEPT YOUR ROLE.. IF YOU CAN'T..?? THEN MAYBE FOOTBALL ISN'T FOR YOU RIGHT NOW.. THE KEY IS MAKING YOURSELF BETTER, IF YOUR NOT DOING ANYTHING OFF THE FIELD LIKE WORKING OUT AND STUDYING GREATNESS.. IT WILL NEVER WORK OUT FOR YOU.. IT'S JUST THE TRUTH, SO TAKE A LOOK IN THE MIRROR AND ASK YOURSELF " WHAT HAVE I DONE OFF THE FIELD TO MAKE MYSELF BETTER" ?? SOME OF YOU WON'T LIKE THE ANSWER...

WE ARE FAMILY AND THERE IS NO ROOM FOR ILL FEELINGS TOWARDS COACHES AND PLAYERS. WE HAVE BONDED AS ONE, SO LETS KEEP IT TOGETHER...
