Happy Thanksgiving! The Stanley Cup is coming to Oromocto! It will be on display at center ice at the Kings Arrow arena on Saturday 25 Oct 2008 from 08:00 to 10:00. Stop by and get your picture taken with the "Holy Grail" of Hockey. "Teams" have been added to the website just for info purposes only. You can click on any of the teams and see how they managed their own websites last year. When the kids are finally allocated to a team, someone (there can be more than one) from that team can get an Administrators password and keep their teams website up to date. It is very easy to do! OMHA has tried two different methods for Try-outs; 1) Eval all kids and then invite the top portion to continue try-outs for a competitive team. And (2) Hold try-outs only for those that wish to be on a competitive team. Your choice would be:2) Evaluate only those that wish to try for comp (25 responses)68% 1) Evaluate everyone, then invite a certain amount (10 responses)27% Hold try-outs but make them pay extra (1 response)3% Only those that wish to try out , plus charge a fee (1 response)3%

OMHA General Meeting
There will be an OMHA General meeting on Tuesday November 4th 6:30-9pm at the Hazen Park Center. This is where you can have an input into Minor Hockey, so please attend and help make Minor Hockey better.

OMHA Ice Schedule
Small change to schedule that affects the Atom Division on 1 Nov only. This is the ice allocation table for all of OMHA. From this, each Division will produce their own Team schedule, once they have been formed.

You Need This!!
Speakout Course Who needs this? Anyone who will be helping out with the team. This includes coaches, assistant coaches, managers, bench staff (door openers) and trainers. This qualification is good for life (a one-time thing). What's the cost? OMHA pays the bill! So it only cost you some of your time. If you don't have this course you will not be permitted on the bench. When is the Course? 1pm Sunday, Sept 28 at the Hazen Center. Maximum attendance is only 25. You will have to contact John to find out when the next course will be. How? Just email John McDonald... to register.
