Newton North was the first Little League to represent Massachusetts in the Little League World Series Championship in 1953. It is also the home of the 1998 Massachusetts State Champions from a decade ago!
Newton North Little League serves eligible boys and girls, from ages 5 to 12, who attend, or reside in the school districts of Horace Mann, Lincoln Eliot and Underwood elementary schools. Middle school and private school students, from these districts, are also welcome and eligible to play. The T-ball program is open to all children who live, or attend school, in Newton. We are a volunteer, non-profit, organization and we're very grateful for all the assistance this past season! Please join us, invest a little time and make the 2009 season even better. We welcome your input and assistance. You could be assisting with our website, attend our monthly Board of Directors meetings, coaching, assisting a team or just bringing your children to attend a game at Murphy Field. The Hot Line for NNLL is 617 584 NNLL (6655). We use this number for special announcements, game cancellations about 90 minutes prior to the start of the game and schedule changes, make up games, due to weather.
Lost and Found: Please utilize the message boards for posting any items that have gone missing or turned up. Put your player's name on their gear! For items that turn up you can speak with your coach and have them lock the item in the equipment shed.
