Tuesday, October 7 NALL Board of Director Changes for 2008-2009 9/30/08 - Join me in welcoming Darryl Door as the 2008-2009 President of the Newark American Little League. Darryl will take over the helm as President, beginning 10/1/08. Darryl brings a wealth of experience to the position, along with an enthusiasm that will be hard to match. I am counting on this League supporting Darryl as it has supported me these past 2 years. You'll be hard pressed to find a more dedicated man to lead this League, than Darryl. I've enjoyed my time as President and look forward to working along side Darryl and the BOD as we enter our 56th year! There are many terrific memories that I'll take with me, but the biggest one will be the look on your children's faces during the opening day ceremonies! Newark American is simply one of the very best Little Leagues out there, and that would not be possible without the support of the Board of Directors and the parents alike. The hard work of our parents have helped form this League and it's made us what we are today! I thank each and every one of you... Look forward to seeing you at the park! Tuesday, May 15 NO SKATEBOARDING ON VFW PROPERTY! NALL knows we have lot's of great skateboard enthusiasts that love to come to the field and skate during games. The Board of Directors regretfully has to ban skateboarding in the VFW parking lot because of potential safety issues. We will however allow you to skateboard in the parking area behind center field fence but need to make sure everyone understands NO SKATEBOARDING ON VFW PROPERTY! |
