PRESIDENT’S GREETINGS

Hello Everyone,

I would like to take this time to introduce myself, my name is Kathy Estright and I will be serving as league President this year.  My husband and I have lived in the Manassas Park area for 38 years.  I have 4 daughters and 3 grandchildren.  We have been involved in organized sports for the past 18 years.  I have been coaching Tee-Ball for the past 5 years and will continue to do so.  I have served as president of the MPPPSL and Manassas Park Athletic Boosters.

I am looking forward to having a very positive and productive year.  I want everyone to know that I am here for all the children in the league. I want them to go away with knowledge of the game, many fond memories and the best baseball experience of their little league careers.

April 19, 2008, we will be having an Opening Day Ceremony and Fun Fair for all Little Leaguers big and small.  It will take a lot of hard work and volunteers.  I know I can count on you.  So please sign the volunteer list.

Volunteers from each team operate the snack bar.  The teams are assigned different days during the season that they must send workers to run the snack bar.  This is an easy job if we all work together.

EVERY PLAYER MUST PARTICIPATE IN ONE FUNDRAISER.
Our fundraiser this year will be a raffle.  Every player is required to sell 25 raffle tickets unless you decide to pay the opt out fee.  There are no exceptions.    

I have a great Board of Directors.  We will all be working together to do the best for our children.

I look forward to seeing you all at the ball field and having a great year.
