Welcome to the official homepage of the Lake Ridge Lancers Summer Swim Team.  We are a member of the Prince William Swim League(PWSL) and we are located in Woodbridge,Va.

We practice at the Lake Ridge Community Swim Club.  You do not have to be a member of the pool to join the team, so let your friends know about us!

Meeting Reminder
Lancer Parents,
Just a reminder that our Parent's Meeting will be held tomorrow (Thursday, August 28) at the Occoquan Bible Church from 7:00 until 9:00.  The church is located at the corner of Old Bridge Road and Springwoods Drive.
According to our By-Laws, nominations for new members on the Board of Managers can be made at any time, including the night of the parents meeting.  Please consider attending so that we can get a good perspective of any issues that you might have.

Parents Meeting Rescheduled For August 28
Lancers,

While Lancermom is on vacation, I have a few important items to pass on to everyone.

1.  New date, time, and location for the annual end-of-season parent's meeting: The meeting planned for Thursday, August 14th at the LRCSC pool has been moved to Thursday, August 28, 7:00-9:00 pm at the Occoquan Bible Church (3700 Old Bridge Rd, at the intersection of Springwoods Dr and Old Bridge Road).  Please come and participate in shaping our future team.  I'm interested to hear from everyone about their experience this year and how we can improve it next year.  We'll hand out the 2008 swim season questionnaire and have time for a discussion on division standings and composition for next year.  
 
Hope to see you at the parent's meeting on Aug 28th!!

2008 Blue Division Results

The blue division winners are the Sudley Seahorses.  The close race was who would finish in second place, the Lancers pulled it out.  It was a great meet with some awesome time drops! 

The best news is that the Lancers finally had someone break a record this year.  Michael Hale-Kupiec broke the  Boys 50 SC Meter Backstroke record that had stood since 2001.  Michael swam it in a 34.99, Way to go Michael!!!!
