Landstown schedules a tough season opening tournament
Landstown's girls varsity volleyball team will be playing in the Ukrops Volleyball Showcase on September 1st and 2nd. The Showcase features the top high school teams in Virginia and will be played at the Richmond Convention Center. The tournament features last year's AAA Champions Douglas Freeman, Runners Up Deep Run High School, semi-finalists Cox and Kellam, and quarterfinalists Colonial Forge, Osbourn Park, and Westfield. Other top programs attending are Mills Godwin, First Colonial, Ocean Lakes, Great Bridge, Western Branch, Princess Anne, Forest Park, Patrick Henry, Albemarle, CD Hylton, and many more.
