2008 HHWC Annual Novice Tournament
ENTRIES ARE NOW CLOSED AND THE TOURNAMENT IS BEING SEEDED.
HHWC will be hosting it Annual Novice Tournament on Sunday February 17, 2008 at Hatboro - Horsham High School. Wrestling will start at 9:30. This is a double elimination tournament. Weight classes are determined by the Madison System and will be made up after weigh-ins. We will be giving 4 awards for each weight group.
Divisions will be Pee-Wee (6 and Under), Bantam ( 8 and Under), Midget (10 and Under), and Junior (12 and Under).

HHWC National Champions
Two former HHWC members were selected to the Pennsylvania’s National School Boy (7th and 8th grades) Greco-Roman and Freestyle Teams. Nick DiMuzio (Upper Dublin HS) and John Bolich (Upper Moreland HS) both competed for Pennsylvania. The tournament was held in Indianapolis, Indiana, in early June, and hosted 28 state teams. Pennsylvania continued its national dominance in wrestling, winning both the Greco and Freestyle titles. John earned All-American honors in Greco-Roman for being undefeated in the duals. Later in June at Blue Mountain, both Nick and John won PA State titles in these wrestling styles! Both boys will start their High School career this season and hope to continue on successful paths.

Parent Participation
We ask that parents who are not coaching help with cleaning and rolling-out the mats before practice, and rolling-up after. The coaches devote a lot of their time to teaching the kids how to wrestle. It is not fair that they should also have to get things setup for practice.

Welcome to the home of the Hatboro-Horsham Wrestling Club. We are a youth wrestling club open to area children in grades K-8th that competes in the Intercounty Wrestling League. For more detailed information see the Club Information and Objective heading below.
