Following a ground-breaking ceremony on Thursday 8 May 2003, construction work has now officially started on a new, multi-million pound, hi-tech production facility for UK company, Comyn Ching & Co (Solray) Ltd - the market leading manufacturer of Solray Radiant Panels.
The ceremony took place at the 3 acre development site on the Garngoch Industrial Estate, the modern, single-storey factory will cover 28,000 ft2. and create up to 40 local jobs and will feature the biggest, most advanced stud welding plant in the UK, panel assembly, testing and quality assessment areas, a dedicated powder coating plant, parts storage space, offices and extensive loading and unloading facilities.
