Flax Mill Field (Branford)

3. At the second light take left onto Route 139.
4. Proceed for about 1/2 mile and look for sign to the field on the right hand side of the road (Flax Mill Soccer Field)
5. Take a left at the sign.
6. The paved road will wind into a dirt road for approx. 1/2 mile. This road leads directly to the soocer field which is set back in the woods.
Note: Parking could be tight if two games are in progress and you may have to walk up to 200 feet to the field.

1. Take Exit 10 onto Route 40. Get off the first exit and go to the end of the ramp.
2. At this light make a left onto Devine Street. Go to next light and make left onto Hartford Turnpike. You will go back under the highway to the next light and make a right onto Dixwell Avenue.
3. Follow Dixwell Ave. to the light at the intersection of Dixwell Ave. and Whitney Ave. This is the center of Hamden. You will see the Town Hall on the opposite right corner.
4. Take a left onto Whitney Ave.
5. Continue on Whitney Ave. to the light at the intersection of Putnum Ave. (At this intersection you will see the Playwright Restaurant on you opposite right hand corner and on your left will be Whitneyville Church)
6. Take a right onto Putnum Ave. and follow to second light. This is Newhall St.
7. Take a left onto Newhall St. and follow to first light. Driveway to school is on your right. Pull into lot and field is in the rear.
I91N
1. Take Blatchley Street exit. (Left hand exit off highway). At the end of the ramp, at light, make a right. Follow to second light and make a right onto Cold Spring. (This will curve past Wilbur Cross H.S.) 2. Continue on Cold Spring to Whitney Ave. (you cannot go any farther) Make right onto Whitney Ave.
3. Follow to intersection of Putnum Ave.(Playwright Restaurant is on your left and Whitneyville Church is opposite you on your right.)
