Registration for the 2008 Baseball Season is now!
The time is now to sign up your child to play baseball for the upcoming season. If your child is 5 years old or older on April 30th but no older than 12 years old on April 30th then you will need to mark your calendars for the following sign up dates. January 22nd and 29th registration will be held at the Parks and Rec Building from 6 PM to 8 PM. On January 19th and 26th registration will be held at the MVMS from 8 AM until noon. Tryouts for the Major and Minor league divisions to be held in February
If your child is 9 years old or older and did not play on a Major league team last year then your child will need to attend a mandatory tryout on Sunday, February 17th from 8 AM until noon time at the MVMS. Children ages 5, 6 and 7 do not need to attend tryouts. Children age 8 do not need to attend tryouts however, if you feel your child is prepared for the Minor league division then they will need to attend. Please be aware that only a few 8 year olds earn a roster spot on a Minor league team and your child may still be placed on a farm team even if they attend tryouts. Field Day
This year's field day will be held on Saturday, April 19th with a rain date of April 20th. Start time will be at 8 AM. Please donate a few hours of your time to help get our fields ready for play.
