Arsenal Advance to State Cup Quarterfinals
In a tough early morning game, the Arsenal battled a determined Seneca Strikers team for the right to advance to the State Cup Quarterfinals.  After a 0-0 first with the Arsenal on defense more than they would have liked, the second half started with a well-played "through ball" from Brian Bowling to a wide open Casey McConkey on the right flank.  Casey sent a perfect cross to striker Jorge Pacheco who found the back of the net with 26 minutes left to play.  The rest of the game was intensely played by both teams, and the Arsenal held on to finish 1-0.  Another shutout was recorded by Arsenal's goalkeepers Tyler Hall and Jake Smith.

Sunday, April 6

The offense was led by Striker Jorge Pacheco's 3 goal "hat trick" as well as goals by Chris Vargas, Mikey D'Antonio and Teo Wilkening. Goalkeepers Jacob Smith and Tyler Hall earned shutouts.
