Explosion Thanks Players!
Explosion thanks, Delaney, Kira, Breana, Amanda and Anna ,not pictured, for their great play and a 23-0 record, during the HS season. Good luck with your teams and we will see you on the field.
Explosion wins ASA Turkey Tournamnet
Explosion goes 8-0 in the ASA Turkey Tournament. After winning their pool, explosion beats Cal-Lite, O.C. Batbusters, Raiders, and in the championship game beat the Cal Cruisers 4-3. After scoring 2 runs in the bottom of the 6th to go ahead 3-2, Cal-Curisers tied it up in the 7th. In the bottom of the 7th with two outs, Jo Jo Lampton doubled home Jenifer Galvin to give Explosion the victory. Great job of pitching by Christine Hiner, who pitched a complete game.

Explosion finishes 9th at 14u Nationals offical order
After taking 2nd in pool play and losing the first game of bracket play, Explosion wins the next 6 games, before losing 2-0 to Corona Angles Tyson, and take 9th place. After winning 2 games on Thursday, Explosion wins 3 games on Friday 1-0, 1-0 and then exploded against Ballistic 12-3, Highlighted by a 2 run homerun over the center field fence by Janelle Zuniga. Saturday, Explosion beats Salinas Storm 2-0, the same team that gave Explosion their first lost of bracket play. Explosion then beat the Lady Jackets from Atlanta, 2-1, before losing to the Angels. Explosion finishes 6-2 in the tournament that had 104 teams entered. Great job by our coaches, pitchers, Allyssa Freight, Christine Hiner and Kristina Oaks, and all the players throughout the tournament. For offical order of finish click link title above.
Explosion Wins Vegas Blast Tournament
Great pitching and timely hitting was the key to Explosion's 4 to 1 victory over a tuff SD Storm team in the 7th Annual Vegas Blast Tournament. Catcher's Heather Gerritse and Jennifer Galvan anchored Explosion's defence throughout the two day's in Vegas. Contributing with some great defensive play's Caitlin McClure, Vanessa Valencia and Renee Sheppard kept Explosion's opponents scoring down. Pitcher's Christine Hiner, Sara Overholt, Lauren Molina and Janelle Zuniga, allowed 5 run's in 6 games helping Explosion go undefeated. Awesome hitting from Jo Jo Lampton, and Jill Schaefer, paced the Explosion hitting attack.
Explosion 1st place in National Qualifer Hayward
Explosion goes undefeated to qualify for ASA Nations. Explosion beats, San Jose Strikers 5-3, So Cal Red Hots 6-0, Ballistics 6-1, SD Renegades 4-2, Valley Breeze 5-2 and beat Nor Cal Light 12-4, in the Championship Game to earn a berth to Columbus Georgia. Awsome Job Explosion!
