The Empire Football League formally concluded its regular season schedule on October 4^th.  The playoff format includes the top 4 teams and playoffs are scheduled to start October 11^th. However, due to a tie for 4^th place between Amsterdam and Ottawa, and the fact that their game was called due to bad weather on July 26^th, the league determined that it was crucial to finish this game to fairly determine the 4^th place team. As a result, Amsterdam and Ottawa will complete this game on October 11^th while Quebec hosts Plattsburgh in the 1^st round of the playoffs.

The Empire Football League Championship on October 25^th will be hosted by the highest ranking division winner.

 

 The playoff scenario detail is as follows: 

October 11^th

-         Quebec hosts Plattsburgh

-         Amsterdam hosts Ottawa to finish the July 26^th game
October 18^th

-         Vermont hosts winner of the October 11^th Amsterdam vs. Ottawa game

-         Winner of the Quebec vs Plattsburgh game gets a bye 

October 25^th EFL Championship – Hosted by highest ranking winner of the October 18^th games
