Congratulations to the Arrows on another sucessfull winning season. Coach Long and this team battled adversity and other challenges well and reached deep into the State Playoffs again this year. Expectations are always high with the Arrows because of the program Coach Long has developed with your help. If you will scroll down you will see my posting of nearly one year ago exactly stating this program is one of the best in the Nation. The Arrows are ranked # 2 in the Addidas National Ranking Poll at this moment. Regardless of how this season ended I am proud to be a friend of this program...

God Bless...

Congratulations on the Arrows "Louisana Showcase" champions again...
Mid way into another tough year with the Arrows and Coach Long having a target on their back. As you know you are the elite program and every team throws the kitchen sink at you...

I hear rumblings about an incident that happened at NWR the other night. I was not there and I am only speaking for myself. I hear that Coach Long was given a Red Card and was ejected from the contest. As I said I was not there, but I know one thing for sure whatever Coach Long did IF anything he was FIGHTING for you, the player, you the parent, you the fan, the entire program and that sits just fine with me !

Jeff- I had no idea that you were coaching at the High School! I know that you must be an incredible coach. I hope that the opening tournament went well. GO ARROWS!

As THE Clinton High School Arrows prepare for yet another soccer season it is an exciting time. I know these facts, the Arrows led by Coach Jeff Long, will not be out coached, will not be out hustled, will have more intensity on the field than their opponents, will not be out classed...
To everyone involved in this program I wish the best of luck and another State Title !

What a great job Coach Long has done. I grew up playing sports with Jeff and he was the best kid in the neighborhood at any of the games we played. Jeff had the talent before we knew what that talent was meant for.
The post from Kenny Graves is exactly true. Between Kenny, Jeff, and Thomas Bobo; Clinton had a name in soccer. I was just lucky to be there on those teams. These men were true leaders of every sport they played.

Again, I don't know how many people read this guest book since I am the only one to post on it...
Most of you don't know me but perhaps some of you have heard of me. As stated I went to Clinton High and have been following the soccer program for some time. Everyone from Faculty, Parents, Boosters, Allumni, Assistant Coaches and players should all be proud. Coach Long with your help has developed a program that is one of the best in the entire country. You may ask how do I know this, well lets just say you can choose to believe me, or not. The Arrows have fallen short of a third straight State Championship Title but did not gone down without leaving it all on the field. Anyone associated with this program led by Coach Jeff Long should be commended.

God bless,
Kenny Graves

Kenny Graves, 1985 graduate, the best player to ever go to Clinton High School without playing on the team... Coach Long is one of the best Coaches in whole Southeast. Appreciate the time he is there...
