Meetings are held at Civitan Acres, 2210 Cedar Rd., at 7:00 PM. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED REGISTRATION FEES ARE AS FOLLOWS: BASED ON LEAGUE AGE: LEAGUE AGE OF PLAYER IS DETERMINED BY AGE ON: April 30, 2008 Baseball December 31, 2007 Softball TEEBALL AND COACH PITCH (AGES 5 -8): $40: FEE INCLUDES 12 GAME SCHEDULE, HAT, AND SHIRT MAJOR & MINOR (AGES 9-12): $60: FEE INCLUDES AT LEAST 12 GAMES; GAME HAT, SHIRT, PANTS, AND SOCKS. JUNIOR/SENIOR/BIG LEAGUE (AGES 12-18): $75: FEE INCLUDES GAME HAT, SHIRT, PANTS AND SOCKS. CHALLENGER (AGES 5-21, HANDICAPPED CHILDREN) $40: INCLUDES HAT AND SHIRT. ALL PLAYERS MUST PROVIDE A CERTIFIED COPY OF THEIR BIRTH CERTIFICATE. FIELD SITES: BASEBALL (AGES 13 +) HICKORY HIGH SCHOOL; ALL OTHER BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL PLAYED AT CRESTWOOD MIDDLE (TWO NEW LIGHTED FIELDS), HUGO MIDDLE, DEEP CREEK CENTRAL SCHOOLS, or CIVITAN ACRES. Wednesday, December 26 CHEVY BASEBALL COMING TO CLL CHEVROLET thru PRIORITY CHEVROLET has selected CHESAPEAKE LITTLE LEAGUE as a participant in its CHEVY YOUTH BASEBALL program. Complete details of the program will be coming later in January and February but here are some of the highlights. CHEVROLET will support CLL by donating CHEVY branded equipment bags, shirts, and balls. CHEVROLET will also provide our players with free instructional clinics with MINOR LEAGUE PROFESSIONAL PLAYERS and tickets to their games. In addition to a cash donation, CHEVY YOUTH BASEBALL will donate 2000 raffle tickets to CLL towards their TAHOE RAFFLE SWEEPSTAKES. Each raffle ticket will sell for $5, AND WE KEEP THE MONEY! The drawing will begin February 1 and run until May 27th with the winner announced on June 16th. In return, CLL will promote CHEVROLET AND PRIORITY CHEVROLET by allowing them to put signs up on our fences, bring cars out for display at our activities, and allowing them to distribute materials at our games. This is a WIN, WIN situation. If you are considering purchasing a new vehicle, PLEASE VISIT PRIORITY CHEVROLET and tell them CHESAPEAKE LITTLE LEAGUE sent you. Wednesday, December 26 NORFOLK FOUNDATION PROVIDES GIFT The Dal Paull Endowment Fund of The Norfolk Foundation has graciously given Chesapeake Little League a gift of $950. These funds will be used to purchase items to outfit and operate our concession stand. Items will include a generator (that will also help in construction uses), coffee pot, microwave, hot dog machine, etc. This gift will put us on our way to providing a concession stand that will become a fund raisier for years to come.
New Partnership with Velocity Sports Performance and Sentara Sports Medicine · SPARQ athletic testing event for the entire club to provide athletes an assessment of their speed, power and agility. CLL to coordinate and promote event to its members. ($10/athlete fee waived for all CLL athletes ) · Coaching clinic/seminar to instruct CLL on techniques/strategies to enhance their warm-ups and incorporate drills to improve their athletes’ speed and agility. CLL to coordinate and promote to its coaches. (Free to CLL ) · For every group that participates in a group trial session/open house at Velocity Sports Performance, Velocity Sports Performance will donate $50 to support CLL. Group trial sessions will be FREE of charge with a minimum 10 athletes per session and athlete’s ages must be in close proximity to each other – i.e. 11 & 12 year olds. · One free training session at Velocity Sports Performance for all CLL athletes · Discounted team training rates on Velocity Sports Performance programs: a. 10% discount (minimum 10 athletes) · Sentara FAST TRACK same day access program for athletes:a. “Fast Track” Access to Post-Injury Assessment by Certified Athletic Trainers b. “Fast Track” Access to Advanced Diagnostic Imaging Services (MRI,CT) c. “Fast Track” Access to Rehabilitation Services · Access to quarterly nutritional seminars discussing General Nutrition, Fueling for Performance, and Off-season Weight Gain/Loss ($10/athlete fee waived for all CLL athletes) and invitation to free orthopedic screenings

REFUND POLICY Chesapeake Little League understands that circumstances change and on occasion a refund is required. The policy established by The Board of Directors is: 1) Refund requests must be made in writing, 2) Requests must be mailed to Chesapeake Little League P.O.
