Welcome to the Cave
This is the home of the 18U Cy-Fair Battz, Select Fastpitch Softball team. The team plays out of Dyess Park which is just a flap of our mighty wings from Houston. We were originally formed in the Fall of 2001. The Battz are under the guidance of Manager Bruce Carrizales.
Please check back with us as we continue to build our website.

BATTZ FACTZ
There are more then 900 species of battz.
The largest and most feared are those found hanging out at Dyess Park, Texas.
Unlike other species that tend to be timid, this species is quite protective of its domain and enjoys intimidating those who dare to venture into it.
All species of battz can see but the Cy-Fair Battz are noted for their exceptionally keen eyesight which allows them to zero in and make quick prey of chartreuse spheres whirling about them. These battz have also been photographed using aluminum extensions of their hands to subdue their prey.
Battz eat half their weight in food each night, and after digesting their meal it is not unusual to see them eating again - this is NOT a surprise fact about the Cy-Fair Battz.
A number of Asian artists have portrayed battz as signs of good luck, happiness and long life - Let's create our good luck through teamwork. submitted by Nancy Childress
