Chelmsford Soccer Announcement

Players and Parents,

The End of Season Celebration for 2007 is scheduled for November 10, from 11am to 2pm at Granitville Field, Chelmsford High School. Players will participate in the Lion's Cup, a mixed 6v6 tourament. Parents and friends are welcome! Plans include a BBQ luncheon and Women and Men's Team Gatherings at the end of the day.

When: Saturday November 10th from 11am to 2pm

Where: Chelmsford High school - Graniteville Rd Fields

Proposed Menu: Tossed Salad, Baked Beans, Burgers, Hot Dogs, Chicken, cookies/brownies, and drinks

Cost: $15.00 per person (Seniors are free!) Make payment to: Chelmsford High School

Congratulations and thanks to the CHS Varsity Men's Soccer team for a great season, MVC Championship and taking the team into the post season.

The CHS Boys Varsity Soccer team earned a spot in the MIAA State Tournament with a win over division rival Lawrence on Thursday Oct 25th. Congratulations Lions on making the tournament.

The seeding for the tournament will be released by the MIAA at 9:30am on Thursday Nov 1st. The opening round of the tournament will be Nov 2nd. The Lions Tournament schedule will be posted here once available. The MIAA Soccer Tournament Format can be downloaded here.

To ensure that the boys are sufficiently carbo-loaded before each game, the team gets together the evening before each game, after practice, for a dinner hosted by the family of a player on the team. The menu does not have to be pasta, but it does seem to be popular. This website will host the schedule on the Calendar page. Please contact either Varsity Captain to signup to host a pasta dinner night for the team.
