Fall 2008 registration is now open
Late fees start July 1.  Here is a link to the registration form, and a link to the uniform order form (both are in the Handouts section).

Important dates for the Fall 2008 sesaon
First week of (FCYSL) games - September 6/7

Picture day - October 11

Last week of regular season games - October 25/26

FCYSL tournament weekends - November 1/2 and 8/9 (second week usually just a raindate)

Summer Camp
We will be hosting the Challenger British Soccer camp again this summer, from August 11 through August 15, at Ballenger Creek Middle School. There are different programs covering ages 3 to 16. Early online registration gets you a free jersey. All campers get a soccer ball and a t-shirt.

1) Go to http://www.challengersports.com/ and

2) click on "Find a Camp Near You" or "Search for a camp near you".

3) On the next screen select "British Soccer Camps" (under Camp Type) and enter 21703 under zip code. Change the radius to 5 miles.

4) The camps are sorted by date, scroll down to Ballenger Creek Soccer /BCRC.

Volunteers
We have filled the very important positions of Volunteer Coordinator (Lisa Abell - soccervolunteer@comcast.net) and Field Marshals (Kevin Grubb - ktgrubb@comcast.net and Joe Brkovich - fieldguy@comcast.net ) . Look for e-mails from them if you volunteered to line fields, set up goals or do adminstrative work.

Parents: there is no need to become an eteamz (nor the new name active.com) member. All pages should be viewable by anyone. The only exception is the Divisions link on the left side. The web master uses that to sign up coaches (in case they want a team site). Click on the Teams link if your coach has set up a team site. Send the web master ( mailto:rpr5906@comcast.net ) a note if you find a page that you cannot view.

BCRC Soccer would like to thank The Community Foundation of Frederick County for a grant that covered the portable goals (used for games) and the pop-up goals (used at practices). The grant also covered a laptop that is used to keep the registration database.
