THE ACES THANK THE CITY OF ALEXANDRIA PARKS, RECREATION & CULTURAL ACTIVITIES DEPARTMENT
Four Mile Run Park

The Alexandria Aces would like to thank Roger Blakeley and William Chesley, Deputy Directors of the City of Alexandria's Parks, Recreation & Cultural Activities Department, along with their staff of Craig Alexander, Steve Tompkins, John Boone, Mac Slover and Marvin Elliott, for their spirit of cooperation with our team in helping us have a successful inaugural season.  Their hard work has made it possible for everyone using Four Mile Run Park have a greatly improved facility for all to enjoy.

Special thanks should also be strongly accorded to Kevin Williams, Park Manager of Four Mile Run Park, and his dedicated hard-charging staff, for helping to turn things around both on the field and in the stands.

Seeing their recent achievements, it should be clear to everyone of the city's strong concern and commitment to improving baseball and softball facilities in Alexandria.  In that light, it is the Aces long-term mission to work with the City of Alexandria Parks, Recreation & Cultural Activities to enhance youth baseball and softball.  The Aces will work to build a private-public partnership in Alexandria to help raise funds for 60' and 90' fields.

The Alexandria Aces tip our caps to the city's hard work in making us feel at home at Four Mile Run Park!

Thanks again!  You're all 'Aces' in our book!
