Please check the Calendar page for practice schedules and tournaments.  As of now, the most of the tournaments are confirmed, but please check back often, because occasionally, we need to make changes.  Rosters will be posted shortly.

Although Adversity Elite has eliminated their girls' program, Adversity South will continue offering club volleyball for girls, ages 12-17.  Tryout dates and times will be posted by early October, and will take place at Evanston Township High School.

Adversity South Boys Tryouts for 15-18's are complete.  Practice and tournament information will be posted shortly.

Boys Under 14 (middle school) tryouts will be held on October 15th, from 7-9pm at Evanston Township High School.

When travelling to Evanston for tryouts, please park in the back lot off of Church St., West of the school, by the bike cage. Enter the school between the bike cage and cement stairwell, and follow the signs to the tryout desk. Please be prepared to pay a tryout fee of $20, and have a completed registration form and Medical Waiver from USA Volleyball (see http://www.greatlakesvolleyball.org/USAV/Redesign/publications.cfm?view=forms&cat=J for forms )

TEAMS

14'S, 15'S, 16'S, 17'S AND 18'S

PRACTICES (beginning in October)

Twice per week, (probably Tuesday and Thursday) from 6:30-8:30 or 8-10pm.  

All practices will be held at Evanston Township High School 

TOURNAMENTS 

Each team will play in 6-8 regional tournaments, (all within about an hour drive from Evanston) including at least one "bid" tournament for Nationals.  If a team decides to attempt to qualify for Nationals (to be decided by team/parents in November) and qualifies, then there will be additional expenses collected, and families will be expected to get their players to Atlanta, GA for the National tournament in July.  

PRACTICE POLICY

Players are expected to be at all practices, however, those that play FALL or WINTER HS sports will be allowed to miss practice or come late, as long as they discuss their conflicts with their coach ahead of time.

FEES

The fees  for 2008-2009 will be $995 (same as '07-'08) and will include facility rental, coaching stipends, tourney fees, USAVB registration, two jerseys and one pair of shorts.  The fees do not include optional Nationals expenses, or travel fees.  A deposit of $500 will be expected by 9/30 and the balance of $495 will be due by 12/1.  Please contact Mike McDermott at (847) 571-8200, or m.mcdermott@comcast.net if you have any questions, or need to set up an alternative payment schedule.
