'90 MICHIGAN WOLVES

The original U-17 Michigan Wolves formed in 1998 when the boys were barely 8 years old. Since that time, there have been a few players who have come and gone, but overall, the team has had a stable player history. Three of the original players have played with this team for 9 years, seven of the players have been with the team for 3 - 7 years and the rest of the players have many years of premier league experience in combination with their one to two years in the Wolves organization. The team has many talented players who boast numerous ODP and High School soccer achievements and awards.

In Michigan State Cup competition, the team has finished twice as a Semi-finalist and three times as a Finalist. Through hard work and commitment, they hope to take the crown this year in the June 2007 State Finals. The U-17 Wolves have also continued their success playing in both the USYSA Region II National League and the Super Y League. Their opponents include the best competitive teams from Illinois, Wisconsin, Ohio, Indiana, Missouri, Kentucky and Michigan. The team is coached by Douglas Landefeld.

U - 16 WOLVES WIN DISNEY SOCCER SHOWCASE COPA DIVISION
The U-16 Wolves pulled off a stunning OT victory to win the Disney Soccer Showcase in Orlando, Florida - December 27-30, 2005.

The Wolves took on their biggest challenge in game one with a 1 – 0 win over the 2004 defending champions, the Charlotte NC Soccer Club. On day two, they triumphed over the Richmond (VA) Kickers, 3 – 2. In the final round robin segment, the Wolves pulled out a 1 – 0 victory over FC Texas.

Day Four brought heavy fog and game delays, but the Wolves beat their Semi-Finalist opponents, FSA Soccer (CT) in a 1- 0 defensive dual.

In the finals match against Solar 90 (TX), regulation play ended with a 1 – 1 draw. The teams battled through the first 10 minute OT period, ending once again in a tie. During the second OT period, Solar 90 managed to score, but with one minute remaining, on a perfect corner kick, the Wolves headed the ball in to tie the score and seconds later – end the OT period. A perfect 5 shot Shoot Out resulted in the Wolves claiming the Championship trophy.

DISNEY SOCCER SHOWCASE OR BUST
The U-16 Wolves have been selected to participate in the Disney Soccer Showcase.
Disney's Soccer Showcase presented by adidas is the premier soccer event to get our team noticed by over 500 attending college coaches. The fields are world-class, the competition is intense, and some of the best youth teams from across the U.S. will be participating. One factor yet to be determined, of course, is which team will earn the title of Champion.

The Boys' competition will start on December 27th and finish December 30th.
